It\u2019s been a tough time for Jodie Prenger\u2019s Coronation Street<\/a> character Glenda Shuttleworth, after Ryan Russell\u2019s Michael Bailey ended their relationship.<\/p>\n Glenda has long been unlucky in love on the show, but, speaking exclusively at the RadioTimes.com<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0Soap Awards 2024<\/strong> sponsored by Inspired Villages<\/a>, Prenger has revealed her hopes that the barmaid will eventually find love \u2013 with a certain Mandalorian<\/a> star.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean, I\u2019m not being funny, but I got dumped, so you\u2019re bringing up a very raw situation for me,\u201d Prenger joked about the topic of Glenda and Michael.<\/p>\n \u201cI hope she finds love again. I mean, if Pedro Pascal wants to come on the show, I\u2019ll be happy to do it\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n You heard it here first, Corrie fans \u2013 Glenda\u2019s dream man, played by Pedro Pascal, might be on his way. Actually, I used to have a tight perm like Vera\u2019s years go, and I wore these huge glasses.<\/p>\n \u201cI looked like the love child of Russell Grant and Deirdre Barlow \u2013 how could Steve McDonald resist that? I don\u2019t know what Tracy would have to say \u2013 I\u2019m missing her in the show, I\u2019ve got to admit.\u201d<\/p>\n Coronation Street picked up two wins at the RadioTimes.com Soap Awards <\/strong>\u2013\u00a0for Best Young Performer, which went to Charlie Wrenshall, and for Best Storyline, for Paul\u2019s motor neurone disease diagnosis.<\/p>\n The\u00a0RadioTimes.com<\/span>\u00a0Soap Awards 2024, sponsored by\u00a0Inspired Villages<\/a>, took place on 13th July.
