ITV’s true crime drama Honour has landed on Netflix. <\/p>

ITV\u2019s Honour tells a horrifying true story, retelling the so-called \u201chonour killing\u201d of 20-year-old British Muslim woman Banaz Mahmod<\/a><\/span>\u00a0in 2006.<\/span><\/p>\n

The two-part drama, which has now become available to watch on Netflix<\/a>, spotlights the story from the perspective of DCI Caroline Goode, who fought to make sure that the men accused of being involved in her killing faced trial.<\/span><\/p>\n

Banaz\u2019s sister Bekhal \u2013 who left the family home at the age of 16 \u2013\u00a0also played an important role, later testifying in court as part of the prosecution\u2019s case.<\/span><\/p>\n

Honour<\/a> employs a brilliant cast to tell the tragic tale, with <\/span>Keeley Hawes portraying DCI Caroline Goode a<\/span>nd<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Buket K\u00f6m\u00fcr playing Banaz Mahmod.<\/span><\/p>\n

Actress Rhianne Barreto<\/strong> plays Bekhal Mahmod in Honour.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Viewers of the comedy crime drama The Outlaws<\/a> will recognise Barreto from her role as Rani \u2013 a studious Oxbridge candidate who is caught shoplifting and sentenced with a community service order \u2013 in the show, in which she <\/span>starred alongside Baby Reindeer<\/a>\u2019s Jessica Gunning.<\/p>\n

Barreto has also appeared as Scarlett in the comedy Dixi, and as Sophie in the first season of Amazon Prime Video<\/a>\u2018s Hanna<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
