The pair have had a blossoming friendship in recent months. <\/p>
Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) and Mackenzie\u00a0Boyd (Lawrence Robb) have forged something of a double act on Emmerdale<\/a> in recent years \u2013 and it looks like their friendship is going to continue to blossom in the future.<\/p>\n Appearing at the RadioTimes.com\u00a0Soap Awards 2024 <\/strong>sponsored by\u00a0Inspired Villages<\/a> on Saturday evening, the pair were asked if they\u2019d be getting into a bit more trouble as time goes by, and they definitely seemed open to that idea.<\/p>\n \u201cI hope so,\u201d said Miller. \u201cI love working with him. And I know he\u2019s here \u2013 it sounds weird that I\u2019m saying it \u2019cause he\u2019s here \u2013 but I do love working with him. So hopefully, the more the merrier.<\/p>\n \u201cBut no, it\u2019s great,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd it takes a\u2026 it adds a bit of lightness to the show, it adds a bit of lightness to our characters. I think we\u2019ve been through quite a lot of stuff, you know, separately, character wise. So it\u2019s nice to do a bit of a\u2026 have a bit of a laugh and enjoy it.\u201d<\/p>\n Robb added: \u201cWe always tend to find the humour in the scenes and that\u2019s\u2026 it\u2019s great fun. It\u2019s nice for a wee bit of comic relief. We enjoy it.\u201d<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n And despite a rocky start for the character following his re-arrival, he\u2019s since rebuilt several of his key relationships to the point that Miller believes the \u2018real\u2019 Aaron<\/a> is back once again.<\/p>\n \u201c[Viewers] didn\u2019t like me for the first three or four months,\u201d he said. \u201cIt kind of made me think was I doing a bad job of acting. But it wasn\u2019t, it was the story. I can only act out what\u2019s on the page.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a different way of bringing him back in. Obviously, I\u2019ve been away a couple of times, so I think they wanted to bring a different sort of edge to Aaron and a different version of Aaron.<\/p>\n \u201cSo it\u2019s nice to play it for a little while, but I\u2019m happy playing the real Aaron.\u201d<\/p>\n The\u00a0RadioTimes.com<\/span>\u00a0Soap Awards 2024, sponsored by\u00a0Inspired Villages<\/a>, took place on 13th July.
