Hollyoaks star Tamara Wall has opened up on her character\u2019s friendship with Frankie (Isabelle Smith), who is currently suffering abuse at the hands of her twin brother.<\/p>\n
Earlier this year, Hollyoaks viewers learned that the abuse Frankie suffered when she and JJ (Ryan Mulvey) were younger had started up again, all under the noses of their family, with Frankie yet to tell her parents what has been happening.<\/p>\n
But there could be a change, as in the trailer for this summer on Hollyoaks<\/a>, Grace and Frankie share a sweet moment in which Grace tells her: \u201cYou remind me a bit of me \u2013 you\u2019re a tough little cookie.\u201d<\/p>\n In the scenes that follow, Frankie can be seen telling JJ, \u201cIf you don\u2019t stop, I\u2019m going to tell Darren,\u201d and it has been confirmed<\/a> that the truth will come out \u201crelatively soon\u201d.<\/p>\n Speaking exclusively at the\u00a0RadioTimes.com<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0Soap Awards 2024<\/strong>\u00a0sponsored by\u00a0Inspired Villages<\/a>, Wall said Grace\u2019s scenes with Frankie will show viewers a much \u201csofter side\u201d to the villain, something that is rarely seen in the soap.<\/p>\n She said: \u201cI love when you see [Grace\u2019s] softer side, and you know that underneath all of that bravado she\u2019s got a heart, and so it\u2019s really nice when they write scenes like that, where I think she\u2019ll want to take care of her.\u201d<\/p>\n When asked if Frankie could have a confidante beyond the Osbornes, Wall added: \u201cI think it would be nice that it is Grace because everyone always thinks of her as being a bit careless and unempathetic.<\/p>\n \u201cBut this kind of shows people that she is a mother at the end of the day, and I think a lot of people forget that because you haven\u2019t seen her with kids for so long.\u201d<\/p>\n The\u00a0RadioTimes.com<\/span>\u00a0Soap Awards 2024, sponsored by\u00a0Inspired Villages<\/a>, took place on 13th July.
