<\/p>
EastEnders star Rose Ayling-Ellis soared to the top three of the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard<\/a> with an elegant foxtrot performed to a song from the Titanic soundtrack.<\/p>\n In movies week on Strictly Come Dancing<\/a>, the contestants are tasked to put their developing dance skills to work by crafting routines set to well-known songs from the world of cinema.<\/p>\n Appropriately, pro partner Giovanni Pernice chose Rose\u2019s theme from James Cameron\u2019s Titanic, which proved to be one of the most popular performances of the night \u2013 with judges and viewers.<\/p>\n Rose Ayling-Ellis<\/a> was awarded her personal best score to date, with a grand total of 36 points (nines across the board).<\/p> \u201cIt was absolutely exquisite and a vision,\u201d said head judge Shirley Ballas. \u201cGiovanni, the beautiful choreography you did \u2013 the simplistic way that you led her and danced with her and the beautiful timing \u2013 I didn\u2019t realise I was going to get so much beautiful foxtrot timing\u2026 very moving, well done.\u201d<\/p>\n Anton Du Beke also gave the performance high praise, comically comparing it with a less successful Titanic-themed performance he gave with Ann Widdecombe many years earlier.<\/p>\n The performance melted the heart of even Strictly\u2019s toughest judge Craig Revel Horwood, who gave his glowing feedback with sign language accompaniment.
