<\/p>
Strictly Come Dancing\u2019s Greg Wise<\/a> has spoken about Robert Webb\u2019s shock exit<\/a> from the competition earlier this week, calling the Peep Show star \u201cheroic\u201d for pulling out of the show.<\/p>\n The comedian announced on Wednesday that he\u2019d decided to withdraw from Strictly Come Dancing after experiencing symptoms related to his open heart surgery that took place two years ago, adding: \u201cAlthough I believed I was fit enough to take on Strictly and its demanding schedule, it became clear that I had bitten off way more than I could chew for this stage in my recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n In an exclusive interview with\u00a0RadioTimes.com<\/strong><\/a>, Sense and Sensibility star and Strictly contestant Greg Wise called Webb \u201cheroic\u201d for calling it quits.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean, it\u2019s horrible every week anyway now because someone has to leave the show even if they\u2019re healthy.<\/p> \u201cI said to Robert that he was doubly heroic because he took this on heroically and then said, \u2018I have to stop now,\u2019 heroically. It took a lot of courage for him to be able to say, \u2018You know what, my body is just now calling time on all of this.’\u201d<\/p>\n Wise went on to speak about Ugo Monye<\/a>, who sat out yesterday\u2019s show<\/a> after suffering with a back injury, saying:\u00a0\u201cLovely big Ug \u2013 he was a top of his game contact sportsman so of course he\u2019s going to be bringing a lot of old stuff with him.<\/p>\n \u201cAgain, major heroism undertaking something like this because as he said, \u2018My whole life has been about keeping it contained, keeping it centered, and now I\u2019ve got to be large and wide and hippy,\u2019 using whole other muscles. Like Adam [Peaty<\/a>]!<\/p>\n \u201cAdam is normally that way,\u201d Wise said, placing his hand horizontally before moving it vertically to say: \u201cAnd now he\u2019s this way so people are going to feel it, they\u2019re going to get injured and they\u2019re going to pull things that they never even knew they had.
