Strictly Come Dancing fans have loved watching The Crown<\/a>\u2018s Greg Wise<\/a> shake his stuff alongside pro Karen Hauer over the past few weeks \u2013 however, if you\u2019re hoping that his wife, star of stage and screen Emma Thompson, might follow in his footsteps and take part next year, then we have some bad news for you.<\/p>\n Wise, who became the third celebrity to be eliminated from the Strictly Come Dancing line-up<\/a> this evening, has said that Cruella<\/a> star Thompson is \u201ccategorically\u201d uninterested in signing up for the 2022 show after watching him take part.<\/p>\n When asked whether Emma Thompson was tempted to compete in Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> after stopping by to watch him in rehearsals, Wise told RadioTimes.com<\/strong><\/a> in an exclusive interview: \u201cI can categorically say no.\u201d<\/p> \u201cNo, she knows what it entails and I think that it\u2019s enough that one of us has done it really,\u201d he added. \u201cI don\u2019t think you\u2019d even get her in for the Christmas special.\u201d<\/p>\n The actor, who starred alongside Thompson in 1995\u2019s Sense and Sensibility, went on to say that the experience was often more nerve-wracking for friends and family watching in the audience.<\/p>\n \u201cAs I say to any of the chums who come along, it\u2019s harder for them than it is for me because they have that anxiety. They have performance anxiety but there\u2019s nothing they can do about it.
