Early reviews for Marvel\u2019s Eternals<\/a> are finally in ahead of its early November release date, with critics hailing the upcoming film as a \u201cmasterpiece\u201d that\u2019s \u201cvisually different\u201d from the franchise\u2019s other blockbusters.<\/p>\n Directed by Chlo\u00e9 Zhao, Eternals introduces a group of immortal aliens, played by Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie and other stars, tasked with protecting humanity from their evil counterparts, the Deviants.<\/p>\n The film\u2019s world premiere took place yesterday and critics immediately took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the superhero flick, with Nerdist\u2019s Dan Casey describing Eternals as \u201cMarvel\u2019s most ambitious film\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cEpic in scope, lavishly shot, and totally unapologetic about how much lore it dumps on you,\u201d he wrote. \u201cTerrific cast, great direction and delightfully comic book-y.
