We do not have long at all now to wait for series 13 of Doctor Who<\/a> which is going by the name of Doctor Who: Flux for its six-episode run.<\/p>\n

New to the TARDIS for this series is comedian, presenter and actor John Bishop and he steps aboard just after his friend and fellow presenter Bradley Walsh departed. And it turns out that Bradley \u2013 who played Graham O\u2019Brien \u2013 gave Bishop some advice about joining the show\u2026 only he had no idea that was what he was doing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I was at Soccer Aid, I knew it was happening, but he didn\u2019t know it was happening,\u201d Bishop told press including RadioTimes.com<\/a>. \u201cSo I didn\u2019t tell him at Soccer Aid. I just sat with him. We had breakfast, and I asked him a load of questions. So he thought I was the biggest Whovian. \u2018I didn\u2019t know you were a big Doctor Who fan.\u2019 I was going, \u2018Yeah. I mean, what\u2019s the set like? What\u2019s Cardiff like?\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was asking all these questions. And he\u2019s going, \u2018I\u2019ve been in it for two years. You\u2019ve never asked me once.\u2019 So I told him afterwards, just before it was announced. I think he had a slight inkling!\u201d<\/p>

And it sounds like Bishop is just as keen as the rest of us to watch the new episodes as, despite being in the series, there\u2019s still some of it that he\u2019s super excited to see for the first time.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot that I\u2019m desperate to see, because you\u2019ve read the script, but you weren\u2019t there when that bit was filmed. And to know how it all hangs together over the six, rather than just how it hangs together over the episode, is something I\u2019m looking forward to seeing.\u201d<\/p>\n
