<\/p>
The third season of Succession<\/a> has only just arrived, but fans are already curious about when season four will begin filming.<\/p>\n However, Brian Cox \u2013 who plays family patriarch Logan Roy \u2013 has now appeared to confirm that Succession season four will begin shooting sometime next summer, in 2022.<\/p>\n Speaking to British GQ<\/a>, Cox confirmed that \u201croughly the plan\u201d is to begin filming in June next year, adding: \u201cI think the writers are getting back in January. I was surprised because I thought they\u2019d be getting back in November. But I do think they need a break. I mean, I think that they do need space, because they\u2019ve been working really hard on this [series].\u201d<\/p>\n Asked how much longer he wants to play Logan, he said: \u201cI would say possibly two more series and then I think we\u2019re done. But it just depends and may just be only one more series. It depends what the writers feel. I know they\u2019ve got an endgame. They haven\u2019t told us what the ending is, but there is an endgame. So it\u2019s just how they get up to that endgame, whether it takes one series or two series.\u201d<\/p> Cox also discussed a scene in season three during which his co-star Jeremy Strong (who plays Cox\u2019s on-screen son, Kendall) burst into tears while filming.<\/p>\n \u201cIn this series\u2026 there\u2019s a moment where it becomes very tense and we have this extraordinary scene \u2013 I can\u2019t remember if it\u2019s [episode] seven or eight \u2013 where I go to see him when he\u2019s in Italy and we have this face-off. Jeremy\u2019s very intense as an actor.<\/p>\n \u201cHe doesn\u2019t like to rehearse, he just wants to do it. And he\u2019s got all kinds of stuff that I don\u2019t have as an actor and I respect it \u2013 you know, horses for courses\u2026 It\u2019s easy to dismiss that and be intolerant of it. I\u2019m only intolerant when it affects everybody and if it puts everybody off their guard.
