Sex Education\u2019s Aimee Lou Wood has teased that we may be approaching the end of the Netflix comedy-drama.<\/p>\n
While Moordale secondary was shut down at the end of season three<\/a>, with the students being told to make alternative academic arrangements, Otis, Eric, Aimee and the gang will still be entering their last year of education and so what does that mean for the future of the show?<\/p>\n When asked whether Sex Education<\/a> might wrap up after the next season or if she\u2019s hoping the show will carry on, the Netflix star told RadioTimes.com<\/a> for next week\u2019s The Big RT Interview: \u201cI\u2019m not sure because there\u2019s a part of me that could just do it forever.<\/p> \u201cBut there\u2019s also a part of me that\u2019s like, \u2018No \u2013 we\u2019ve all got to go and do different things and play different parts.\u2019<\/p>\n She added: \u201cWe can\u2019t be like 50 saying, \u2018Freshers week!\u2019 So it\u2019s a weird one. It\u2019s a bittersweet thing because it probably is, even if it\u2019s not this series, it probably is closer now to ending than it is to the start.<\/p>\n \u201cWhich is sad but also probably in many ways, will be positive. I always think leave them wanting more as well. Always leave them wanting more.\u201d<\/p>\n In the meantime, Wood is starring in Mincemeat \u2013 an episode of Channel 4\u2019s anthology series On the Edge, which explores the impact of mental health in families and parent-child dynamics.<\/p>\n The Sex Education star\u2019s episode follows Jane, a young woman struggling to cope with her controlling and over-bearing mother (Rosie Cavaliero) whilst romantically pursuing Nish (Nikhil Parmar), a boy she went to school with.<\/p>\n For the full interview, check out The Big RT\u00a0Interview<\/a> next week.
