<\/p>
John Whaite shared his apprehension ahead of his next Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> routine during an appearance on Steph\u2019s Packed Lunch today.<\/p>\n The baker, author and presenter will be dancing a \u201csexy\u201d Rumba with his partner Johannes Radebe on Saturday night, marking the first truly \u201cintimate\u201d dance the pair have performed to date, he noted.<\/p>\n Speaking to Steph McGovern and her guests Anton Du Beke and It Takes Two host Janette Manrara, John explained:\u00a0\u201cThe dances we\u2019ve done so far have been very masculine, very powerful, a pally one with the American Smooth.<\/p>\n \u201cWhereas this is our first intimate dance. I\u2019m a little bit worried about that because \u2013 of course we have intimacy, me and Johannes, we have that relationship \u2013 but you\u2019ve got to let yourself go, as Janette and Anton have both said.\u201d<\/p> \u201cYou have to just accept that it\u2019s close. And I\u2019m a bit worried about what people might say about it,\u201d the Strictly star continued. \u201cIt is still two 6\u2032 2\u2033 blokes getting close and cuddly.\u201d<\/p>\n John, who comprises Strictly\u2019s first all-male couple with his partner Johannes, went on to admit he\u2019s \u201cquite scared\u201d of allowing himself to create the romantic moment this weekend \u201cbecause it is an intimate dance\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s very sexy, it\u2019s very intimate, and that\u2019s what I\u2019m worried about, is just letting myself go and not looking like an idiot,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n \u201cEnding up snogging him or something,\u201d host Steph teased.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, I know! It could happen,\u201d John joked. \u201cYou never know. Anton will have to prise us apart!\u201d<\/p>\n Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 6:45pm on BBC One. The results show airs Sunday at 7:15pm on BBC One.
