But is this what GMB viewers want?<\/p>\n<p>According to an exclusive <a href=\"&quot;https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com&quot;\">RadioTimes.com<\/a> poll, the answer is no.<\/p>\n<p>When asked whether they <a href=\"\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/entertainment\/richard-madeley-gmb-permanent-piers-morgan-poll\/&quot;\" target=\"&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"&quot;noopener&quot; noopener noreferrer\">wanted Richard Madeley to be Piers Morgan\u2019s permanent GMB replacement<\/a>, 70 per cent of <strong>RadioTimes.com<\/strong> readers voted \u2018No\u2019, with only 131 (30 per cent) of the total votes going to the \u2018Yes\u2019 camp.<\/p> <p>Madeley has denied rumours he is taking over as Morgan\u2019s permanent replacement, with his representative telling <a href=\"&quot;https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/tv\/tv-news\/good-morning-britains-richard-madeley-25364369&quot;\">The Mirror<\/a>: \u201cRichard is part of a revolving family of presenters and no plans to change that.<\/p>\n<p>They declined to offer any comment on the rumours that he had secured a permanent contract worth \u00a3300,00.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday morning, the presenter himself addressed the rumours on Good Morning Britain, saying: \u201cI think someone\u2019s put two and two together and got four and a half.\u201d He went on to deny he\u2019d be stepping into Morgan\u2019s role, confirming he\u2019d continue appearing alongside Susanna Reid on a regular basis instead.<\/p>\n<p>The presenter is also rumoured to be a part of this year\u2019s <a href=\"\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/entertainment\/reality-tv\/im-a-celebrity-2021-start\/&quot;\" target=\"&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"&quot;noopener&quot; noopener noreferrer\">I\u2019m a Celebrity<\/a>, with The Sun reporting that \u201cI\u2019m A Celebrity will effectively be the perfect launch pad to start\u201d presenting GMB permanently, \u201cand he\u2019s a brilliant addition to the GMB squad\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Looking for something to watch in the meantime?
