The BBC has released a first-look at the Death in Paradise<\/a> festive special, which \u201cpromises a ray of Caribbean sunshine this Christmas time\u201d.<\/p>\n On the show\u2019s official Twitter account, the broadcaster revealed that the \u201csunny Christmas\u201d episode would air this December.<\/p>\n The special episode, set once again on the fictional island of Saint Marie, will also boast a wealth of guest stars alongside \u201cfamiliar faces,\u201d including returning series star Danny John-Jules.<\/p>\n The actor, who reprises his role as charismatic Office Dwayne Myers, will reunite with regular cast members Ralf Little,\u00a0Jos\u00e9phine\u00a0Jobert, Tahj Miles, Don Warrington and Elizabeth Bourgine.<\/p>\n The BBC One Christmas special follows on from\u00a0the Death in Paradise series 10 cliffhanger<\/a> and, with Florence jetting off for Christmas, \u201cthe Commissioner decides to enlist the help of retired officer, Dwayne Myers\u201d.<\/p>\n According to the official synopsis, \u201cIt\u2019s Christmas time on Saint Marie and Neville is preparing to head to Manchester to spend the holiday with his family.
