Although season two hasn\u2019t yet been officially announced, we have The Larkins Christmas special<\/a>\u00a0to look forward to, returning us to the idyllic Kent countryside village where the family live in the 1950s.<\/p>\n Speaking at a Q&A for ITV\u2019s adaptation of The Darling Buds of May, Joanna Scanlan, who plays Ma, teased the show\u2019s festive episode, which reportedly has a big \u201ctwist\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cI think you think you know what you\u2019re going to get \u2013 and I don\u2019t think you\u2019re going to get what you think you\u2019re going to get out of this Christmas special,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \u201cI will not say a word specifically but there are lots of twists and turns it it. It genuinely does remind you what Christmas is about \u2013 what it really is about \u2013 as well as giving you, of course, I hope a lot of laughs and pleasure on the way.
