You can\u2019t have This Morning without Holly and Phil.<\/p>\n

Holly Willoughby has presented ITV magazine show This Morning<\/a> alongside Phillip Schofield since 2009 after taking over from Fern Britton.<\/p>\n

The pair have also presented numerous shows together including Dancing on Ice<\/a> from 2006 to 2011 and then once again upon its reboot in 2018.<\/p>\n

However, on Tuesday (November 16), fans may have been puzzled to see that Holly was absent from her usual Monday to Thursday weekday slot with Phillip.<\/p>\n

Instead, Phillip was joined by roaming presenter and competitions extraordinaire Josie Gibson on the iconic ITV sofa.<\/p>\n

At the top of the show, as Josie was introduced, the pair explained why Holly had been replaced.<\/p>\n

At the start of the show, a delighted Phillip commented: \u201c<\/b>This is a bit of a first!<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know, about an hour ago you were on your way to do our live competitions in Surrey.\u201d<\/p>\n
Phillip confirmed the tight turnaround to bring Josie back to the studio to replace Holly, who had to drop out at short notice.<\/p>\n
