The I\u2019m A Celebrity 2021 line-up<\/a> has now been confirmed, and among the many famous faces is one you may not recognise but one whose work you definitely will have heard \u2013 British DJ Naughty Boy.<\/p>\n Read on for everything you need to know about the hitmaker, his phobias and the cause he will be raising awareness for in the castle.<\/p>\n Age:\u00a0<\/strong>36<\/p>\n Job:\u00a0<\/strong>DJ, Record Producer<\/p>\n Instagram: <\/strong>naughtyboymusic<\/a><\/p>\n Twitter: <\/strong>@NaughtyBoyMusic<\/a><\/p>\n Naughty Boy, whose real name is Shahid Khan, is a British DJ, record producer, musician and owner of production company Naughty Boy Recordings.<\/p>\n Naughty Boy began recording songs in his parents\u2019 garden shed until he got a contract with Sony ATV and a record deal with Virgin Records. After producing records for rappers Chipmunk and Wiley, Naughty Boy began a partnership with Emili Sand\u00e9, co-writing and producing her award-winning debut album Our Version of Events.<\/p>\n He has since worked with artists such as\u00a0Ed Sheeran,\u00a0JLS,\u00a0Cheryl,\u00a0Jennifer Hudson,\u00a0Alesha Dixon\u00a0and\u00a0Tinie Tempah, and released his debut album Hotel Cabana in 2013 which included the number one hit single La La La with Sam Smith. His 2015 collaboration with Beyonc\u00e9 titled Runnin\u2019 (Lose It All) was certified platinum in the UK, and he is now working on a second album.<\/p>\n This won\u2019t be Naughty Boy\u2019s first TV appearance however \u2013 he guest performed with Rak-Su during the X Factor final in 2017, and returned as part of the panel for The X Factor: The Band in 2019.<\/p> Naughty Boy\u2019s music may light up the charts, but now he is keen for the public to get to know him as a person.<\/p>\n \u201cI am excited about going on I\u2019m A Celebrity now,\u201d he said. \u201cI want people to know the real me. I am not a celebrity at all. My music is the celebrity and now is the chance for me to show people what I am really like.\u201d<\/p>\n However, with a phobia of confined spaces and heights, Naughty Boy has said that \u201cnothing in the castle is likeable\u201d but he is looking forward to taking on the trials to do \u201csomething heroic for everyone in camp\u201d.<\/p>\n Naughty Boy has spoken openly about caring for his mum who suffers from dementia, and plans to use his time in the castle to raise awareness about the illness.<\/p>\n \u201cI think it is important for people like myself to create awareness about it. Dementia UK needs constant funding, and I am going to miss Mum the most whilst I am away in the castle.
