It won\u2019t be long before we see this year\u2019s celebs enter the I\u2019m A Celebrity 2021<\/a> castle, as the show returns on Sunday 21st November.<\/p>\n The I\u2019m A Celebrity 2021 line-up<\/a> was announced this week, and includes the likes of Frankie Bridge<\/a>, Louise Minchin<\/a>, Kadeena Cox<\/a>, and Naughty Boy<\/a> \u2013 who was actually rumoured to appear on the series last year.<\/p>\n Speaking to press including RadioTimes.com<\/a>, Naughty Boy \u2013 full name Shahid Khan \u2013 revealed that he was indeed due to take part on the show\u2019s first UK series, but was unable to leave his mum Zahida, who has dementia.<\/p>\n \u201cI was about to do it last year, and I was really excited about it, but life just wasn\u2019t permitted for me to do last year,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean, we were in and out of COVID, and because I live with my mum and her carer, it was just a bit risky for me to leave mum for that amount of time.\u201d<\/p> This year, the show will return to Gwrych Castle in Wales, where I\u2019m A Celebrity was filmed<\/a> last year due to travel restrictions caused by the pandemic.<\/p>\n Despite efforts for the series to return to its original location in Australia, producers recently revealed that I\u2019m A Celebrity 2021 would be filmed in the UK for a second year \u2013 something which made signing up easier for Naughty Boy.<\/p>\n \u201cTo be honest, if this was Australia, I don\u2019t think I would be doing it for that long,\u201d the music producer added. \u201cBut, when it came back around this year, I just had such a feeling that things are so much easier with mum and with her living carer and my family, so I was like, \u2018No, it\u2019s an opportunity. I want to take it!’\u201d<\/p>\n I\u2019m A Celebrity returns to ITV on 21st November.
