<\/p>
National treasure Louis Theroux has revealed he has his sights set on a spot on Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> \u2013 sometimes.<\/p>\n Under very specific circumstances, the documentary filmmaker fancies himself as a bit of a dancer and reckons he\u2019s ready to take on the ballroom.<\/p>\n During an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show, airing tomorrow, Theroux shared his Strictly fantasy when conversation turned to talent and entertainment shows.<\/p>\n Speaking about her stint on The Masked Singer<\/a>, fellow guest Sue Perkins said: \u201cIt was a great thing to do. I loved it. It\u2019s a really fab show.\u201d<\/p>\n Asked if he could sing and would ever consider taking part in the ITV mystery game show, David Walliams chipped in: \u201cNo but the lack of talent has never stopped me! It would be quite fun to do.\u201d<\/p>\n Theroux, meanwhile, was more direct. \u201cI like to do something like that once in a while,\u201d he said. \u201cYou have to pick it carefully.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve seen [The Masked Singer]. I haven\u2019t got a brilliant voice, I\u2019ve got a very narrow range in which I can hold a tune.\u201d<\/p> However, he went on to say his dancing skills could be a different matter. \u201cI like to think I\u2019m a good dancer. I know I\u2019ve had too many drinks when I\u2019m in the kitchen dancing while listening to something on the smart speaker \u2013 often hip-hop \u2013 and I start doing the funky robot and then I start doing MC Hammer spins. And that\u2019s where it happens and I start thinking I should really go on Strictly.\u201d<\/p>\n We\u2019re confident Louis\u2019 legions of fans would be delighted to see him take to the dance floor on Strictly but it sounds like it\u2019s best to keep our hopes in check for now.<\/p>\n The Jonathan Ross Show airs Saturday at 9:30pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
