The curtain has fallen on Strictly Come Dancing<\/a>\u2018s Musicals Week, and another contestant has exited stage right.<\/p>\n

Sadly, it was McFly star Tom Fletcher<\/a>\u2018s turn to leave, after his scores from the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard<\/a> were added to the public vote and he landed in the bottom two alongside Rhys Stephenson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tom and his pro partner Amy Dowden\u2019s Couples Choice to On My Own from Les Mis\u00e9rables failed to grip the judges, including guest judge Cynthia Erivo<\/a>, and Tom was sent home.<\/p>\n

But was it the right choice? Not according to an exclusive RadioTimes.com<\/a> poll.<\/p>\n

When asked whether the right person left Strictly, 67 per cent of the total voters answered \u2018no\u2019, meaning that only 33 per cent of voters thought Tom should\u2019ve gone home.<\/p>

But that doesn\u2019t necessarily mean viewers thought Rhys, who performed a Jive to Footlose alongside partner Nancy Xu, should have left the Strictly Come Dancing 2021 line-up<\/a> instead.<\/p>\n

Some fans commented that Dan Walker<\/a> should have been the one to go home, especially since the judges\u2019 scores placed him last on the Strictly leaderboard with a total of 31 points.<\/p>\n

Dan himself addressed the comments on Twitter<\/a>, saying: \u201cI\u2019m well aware that some people are furious that I\u2019m still dancing, and that\u2019s fine,\u201d before sharing some of the positive messages he has received \u201cin the interest of balance\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n
