We\u2019re more than halfway through Doctor Who: Flux<\/a>, with the fourth episode in the sixth part series leaving fans in shock when it aired last night.<\/p>\n

Village of the Angels<\/a> finally gave viewers some answers about Annabel Scholey\u2019s Claire Brown, who was introduced in the series premiere.<\/p>\n

Scholey, who has appeared in the likes of Britannia, The Split<\/a>, Medici and Being Human, plays a \u201cpercipient\u201d woman stranded in Medderton, and her scenes with Jodie Whittaker\u2019s Doctor were some of the highlights of the episode.<\/p>\n

During an exclusive chat with RadioTimes.com<\/a>, the actress opened up about what it was like behind-the-scenes, revealing that \u201cnobody was allowed to talk about the new Doctor\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of secrecy. There were a lot of signing of forms. And yeah, not allowed to say very much. You know, nobody was allowed to speak about the new Doctor,\u201d she said.<\/p>

She added: \u201cIt wasn\u2019t even\u2026 it was kind of a, \u2018Is there gonna be a new doctor?\u2019 We can\u2019t even say that. It was very top secret, which I think is really fun, actually. I think it\u2019s great.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked whether it meant she couldn\u2019t talk to Whittaker about the fact she was leaving the show after, she explained: \u201cYeah, well, we didn\u2019t know for certain, and she didn\u2019t even really ever properly say that to me, because she wasn\u2019t allowed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI sort of figured she probably was but it wasn\u2019t ever said. Because even Jodie wasn\u2019t allowed to say anything about it. And she didn\u2019t know very much about\u2026 she didn\u2019t know who was taking over. I don\u2019t even think she knows now. I\u2019m not sure she does. Maybe she does and she\u2019s lying! But it\u2019s mysterious, the whole thing.\u201d<\/p>\n
