Amazon Prime Video\u2019s favourite teen assassin returns for a third and final season, as Esm\u00e9 Creed-Miles reprises her titular role as Hanna<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At the start of the season, she\u2019s set to return to \u2018The Meadows\u2019, the boarding school for female assassins where the quasi-headmaster (and Utrax stooge) Carmichael\u00a0will attempt to conceal the fact he\u2019s been blackmailed into helping her and Marissa Wiegler take down Utrax and the mysterious \u201cPioneers\u201d from the inside.<\/p>\n

A three season arc \u201cwas always the intention, to be honest,\u201d showrunner David Farr told Entertainment Weekly<\/a>. \u201cIf you look back at when I was talking about the second season, I talked about how it needed \u2018the third act.\u2019 I come from the theater originally, and I always have full act structure in my head to how a piece of drama plays out. And in this case, I felt that there was this very clear arc.\u201d<\/p>\n

As a child she played Shirley Temple in Mister Lonely, alongside her mother, the Oscar-nominated actress Samantha Morton.<\/p>\n

Who is Marissa Weigler?\u00a0<\/strong>A CIA operative and formerly trusted member of Utrax, she\u2019s now switched sides and is attempting to take down the organisation with the help of both Hanna and Carmichael, whom she and Hanna blackmailed at the end of season two. However, Mireille Enos says Marissa is \u201c100 per cent not\u201d a good guy<\/a>, suggesting that there\u2019s the potential she could double-cross Hanna during the course of season three.<\/p>\n
Where have I seen Mireille Enos before?\u00a0<\/strong>She recently played War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, in the acclaimed adaptation of\u00a0Good Omens<\/a>, but you may also know her from the US version of The Killing, in which she played\u00a0Sarah Linden opposite Hanna season one co-star Joel Kinnaman. She has also starred in the likes of Big Love, If I Stay, and The Captive.<\/p>\n

Who is John Carmichel?\u00a0<\/strong>Speaking to\u00a0RadioTimes.com\u00a0<\/strong>ahead of season two, Mulroney said that the\u00a0viewer learns fairly quickly that Carmichael is the \u201cbad guy\u201d<\/a>. However, in season three, there\u2019s an uneasy (and potentially compromised) pact between him, Marissa, and Hanna.<\/p>\n
