The release date for Jurassic World: Dominion in 2022 is still several months away.<\/p>\n
However, for those who can\u2019t wait, the makers of Jurassic World: Dominion have shared a five-minute prologue offering the beginning of a story that will be continued in cinemas next year.<\/p>\n
The prologue was previously exclusive to IMAX, paired with screenings of Fast & Furious 9, but has now released online \u2013 and you can watch it for yourself further down the page.<\/p>\n
It shows a load of dinosaur action 65 million year ago, even giving fans a glimpse of the mosquito used to clone dinosaurs in the franchise\u2019s original film.<\/p>\n
\u201cEver since I was a kid, I have wanted to see dinosaurs\u00a0in their natural habitat,\u201d director Colin Trevorrow said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt may have taken a few decades, but with a little help from ILM, Universal and Amblin, it has finally happened. This preview is just a glimpse of the film we\u2019ve made. Plot details for the third instalment of the franchise are yet to be confirmed, but it is set to unfold after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom \u2013\u00a0and after its\u00a0shocking ending<\/a>.<\/p>\n Long-time fans will be thrilled to hear that the film will see Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles from the original Jurassic Park films, while Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will also return.<\/p>\n Neill, who is reprising his role as Dr. Alan Grant for the first time since Jurassic Park III in 2001, has teased that \u201cJurassic World: Dominion is going be a big film\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201c[Director] Colin Trevorrow has that childlike sense of wonder, playfulness and inventiveness that [Steven] Spielberg has,\u201d he told\u00a0Variety<\/a>. \u201cWe really shot a six-hour movie.
