Hopes and expectations are high that Sunderland can achieve instant promotion back to the top flight. But if everything went to plan, would it be any fun?<\/p>\n<p>There are now 14 episodes between the two seasons of the show, but will there be any more to watch in the years to come?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"&quot;http:\/\/radiotimes.com&quot;\">RadioTimes.com<\/a> brings you exclusive insight from the series\u2019 creators about whether fans can expect a third season of Sunderland \u2018Til I Die.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Will there be another season of Sunderland \u2018Til I Die?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>There has been no filming at the club since the 2018\/19 season, with no plans to pick up the popular series.<\/p>\n<p>However, production company Fulwell73 \u2013 who also produce The Late Late Show with James Corden, the Friends Reunion and the brand new <a href=\"&quot;https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/sport\/football\/all-or-nothing-juventus-documentary-release-date\/&quot;\">All or Nothing: Juventus<\/a>, streaming on Amazon Prime Video \u2013 are a company run by die-hard Sunderland fans.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, their name is inspired by the iconic \u2018Fulwell End\u2019 of Sunderland\u2019s old stadium, Roker Park, and the year of their last FA Cup triumph in 1973.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2021, Ben Turner spoke exclusively to <strong>RadioTimes.com<\/strong> about a potential comeback for the series.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cI\u2019d never close the door on a season three of Sunderland \u2018Til I Die, though, as a Sunderland fan, watching this season fall apart is slightly less painful than when you are in there filming!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would love to be able to show how wonderful it is when Sunderland have a successful season.\u201d<\/p> <p>Back when season twpo aired, Turner\u2019s partner-in-crime and fellow executive producer Leo Pearlman \u2013 also a lifelong Sunderland fan \u2013 teased a potential season three in years to come: \u201cNever say never. You never know.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think that after all we\u2019ve been through, we could do with something positive, and you can\u2019t ever guarantee at Sunderland that will be the case.
