Alors! Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and \u201cCaptain Slow\u201d himself James May will be hitting the road once more for their second The Grand Tour<\/a> lockdown special \u2013 and this time, they\u2019re heading to France.<\/p>\n

Amazon Prime Video has released the first official trailer for the special, Carnage A Trois, featuring all three former Top Gear presenters.<\/p>\n

The brand new special promises to \u201cdive into the bizarre world of French car culture\u201d, and serves as a follow-up to the trio\u2019s The Grand Tour Scotland Special, \u201cLockdown\u201d.<\/p>\n

The full synopsis reads: \u201cIn this second lockdown special, the trio dive into the bizarre world of French car culture. On an epic road trip starting in the Welsh hills, they dish up a hair-raising mountain climb, bomb defusals,\u00a0propeller\u00a0powered cars, helicopter stunts and the most thrilling race of their lives before reaching the English Channel for a jaw dropping medieval climax. And a soupcon of French art house cinema.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p>Speaking to press including <a href=\""https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/"\">RadioTimes.com<\/a>, Clarkson previously explained that the\u00a0pandemic forced the trio to be <a href=\"\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/entertainment\/the-grand-tour-jeremy-clarkson-covid-impact-newsupdate\/"\" target=\""_blank"\" rel=\""noopener" noopener noreferrer\">on their \u201cA-game\u201d while filming the Grand Tour specials<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFilming in COVID, I don\u2019t know, it\u2019s sort of forced us to be on our A-game really because the risk was so intense,\u201d he said. \u201cI mean, there may be 50 people in the crew, and we couldn\u2019t just take 50 rooms in a hotel, we had to take over the whole hotel because this was the protocols that were given to us.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had to bring in our own catering staff, we had to have our own COVID testing people with us.
