Disney Plus has teased the return of the original Star Wars bounty hunter with a short trailer for The Book of Boba Fett.<\/a><\/p>\n

While the clip is only 30 seconds long, it gives fans a sneak-peek at a few scenes from The Mandalorian<\/a> spin-off, including roof top chases, sandy landscapes and Boba\u2019s green helmet.<\/p>\n

Starring Temuera Morrison as the Star Wars character, the upcoming series follows Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) as they return to Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.<\/p>\n

Morrison reprises his role as Boba Fett on screen for the second time, having previously voiced the character in Star Wars: Episode III and played Boba\u2019s father, Jango Fett, in Episode II \u2013 Attack of the Clones.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Mandalorian\u2019s Jon Favreau is on board as an executive producer, while the likes of Robert Rodriguez, Bryce Dallas Howard and Dave Filoni are set to direct.<\/p>\n<p>Actress Jennifer Beals will also appear in the series as an alien Twi\u2019lek character.<\/p>\n<p>The spin-off arrives on Disney Plus in December, after being announced back in 2019 with \u00a0<a href=\"\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/sci-fi\/the-mandalorian-season-3-release-date-disney-plus\/"\" target=\""_blank"\" rel=\""noopener" noopener noreferrer\">The Mandalorian<\/a> season two\u2019s <a href=\"\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/sci-fi\/boba-fett-spin-off-mandalorian\/"\" target=\""_blank"\" rel=\""noopener" noopener noreferrer\">post-credits scene<\/a>, which saw Boba and Fennec take over Jabba The Hutt\u2019s palace.<\/p> <p>At the start of this month, Disney Plus released a <a href=\"\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/sci-fi\/the-book-of-boba-fett-trailer-newsupdate\/"\" target=\""_blank"\" rel=\""noopener" noopener noreferrer\">full-length trailer for The Book of Boba Fett<\/a>, teasing that the show will pick up from where The Mandalorian left off, with Boba and Shand negotiating with the crime lords who currently dominate Tatooine.<\/p>\n<p>Will Boba come out on top in the criminal game of thrones on Tatooine?<\/p>\n<section class=\""template-article__editor-content\" editor-content=\"\" ev-meter-content=\"\"><strong>Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett arrives on Disney Plus in December 2021. <\/strong><\/section><section class=\""template-article__editor-content\" editor-content=\"\" ev-meter-content=\"\"><strong><a href=\"\/\/disneyplus.bn5x.net\/c\/1236178\/564546\/9358?subId1=radiotimes-1040298&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.disneyplus.com%2Fhome"\" target=\""_blank"\" rel=\""noopener noopener noreferrer\" sponsored=\"\">Sign up to Disney Plus for \u00a37.99 a month or \u00a379.90 a year now<\/a>.
