Fans will have to wait at least one more night as I\u2019m A Celebrity 2021<\/a> remains off air due to the effect of Storm Arwen.<\/p>\n The brutal weather has battered the production base at Gwrych Castle, where I\u2019m A Celebrity is filmed<\/a>, in recent days and, as the wind persists, it\u2019s still not possible for filming to resume and the celebrities to return to the castle.<\/p>\n The news was confirmed on This Morning today (Monday 29th November), with Matthew Wright appearing alongside hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby to discuss the latest update from Wales.<\/p>\n Announcing that the show would not air tonight, Wright said the celebrities remained in their bubbles after being removed from the castle on Saturday.<\/p>\n On Saturday night, ITV said in a statement: \u201cWhilst we get the production base back up and running after suffering technical issues due to the storm, we have removed the celebrities from the castle.\u201d<\/p>\n It is understood that the safety of the contestants is the primary priority of the channel and all celebrities have been returned to quarantine until production is back up and running.<\/p>\n With the show missing at least three of it\u2019s planned nightly episodes and the production base still undergoing repairs after suffering damage in the storm, Wright also raised questions about what the fate of this series could be if ITV are unable to bring I\u2019m A Celebrity back tomorrow night.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know whether it would be better to pull the plug,\u201d he mused.<\/p>\n Schofield responded by saying that wasn\u2019t the way things went in TV, insisting: \u201cThe show must go on.<\/p>\n \u201cHopefully they\u2019ll get it back on again,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n RadioTimes.com\u00a0<\/strong>has contacted ITV asking for comment.<\/p> At the weekend, ITV confirmed the I\u2019m A Celeb production base had sustained \u201csignificant damage\u201d in the stormy weather.<\/p>\n Ant and Dec have been unable to present live from the site since the damage but said in an Instagram video<\/a> that the team were working \u201cround the clock\u201d to fix the damage and get the show back up and running.<\/p>\n We will keep you updated as soon as we know when I\u2019m A Celebrity will return.<\/p>\n Previous episodes of I\u2019m A Celebrity are available to catch up now on ITV Hub. <\/strong>Visit our\u00a0<\/b>Entertainment<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0hub for more news and features, or find something to watch with our\u00a0<\/b>TV Guide<\/b><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/b><\/p><\/body><\/html>\n By Minnie Wright Published: Monday, 29 November 2021 at 12:00 am Fans will have to wait at least one more night as I\u2019m A Celebrity 2021 remains off air due to the effect of Storm Arwen.
