It will soon be time to bring the trilogy of His Dark Materials to a close.<\/p>\n
The third run of the hit BBC\/HBO series will adapt the third novel in the book series of the same name by author Phillip Pullman, The Amber Spyglass.<\/p>\n
Series three began production earlier in 2021, with star James McAvoy revealing in June that filming had begun again in Wales after some COVID-based delays.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re doing that down in Wales at the moment,\u201d he told BBC Breakfast. \u201cI\u2019m driving back down there in a couple of hours to do a big set-piece with my snow leopard Stelmaria, and I\u2019m excited to be back for season three.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, we can now confirm that the third season has finished filming.<\/p>\n
The show\u2019s official Twitter page penned on November 26: \u201cIt has been an incredible six year journey through the Worlds of <\/span>#HisDarkMaterials<\/a><\/span>, but it\u2019s time to close the doors on the final chapter. \u00a0 That\u2019s a wrap on Season 3\u2033.<\/span><\/p>\n We\u2019re certainly going to miss this show!<\/p>\n It has been an incredible six year journey through the Worlds of #HisDarkMaterials<\/a>, but it\u2019s time to close the doors on the final chapter.
