Whereas when I was sat at home, you do.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd then I see why people vote for people like Dan. It\u2019s interesting, isn\u2019t it? Because he\u2019s probably one of the weaker dancers out of everyone that is left in this programme but you still feel for him. So you sort of invest in that. It\u2019s a totally different sort of experience so I understand now why the audience are given 50 percent of the vote.\u201d<\/p> <p>Revel Horwood added: \u201cI\u2019m just there to uphold and wave the dance flag professionally, but then the people at home, they\u2019ve invested in the human being themselves and their story and journey throughout it. So I do think it does sway them and I think it\u2019s why it\u2019s good having the audience having 50 percent of the power.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"&quot;http:\/\/RadioTimes.com&quot;\">RadioTimes.com<\/a> columnist and former <a href=\"\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/entertainment\/talent-shows\/strictly-come-dancing-2021-start-date-news\/&quot;\" target=\"&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"&quot;noopener&quot; noopener noreferrer\">Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> professional Ian Waite <a href=\"\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/entertainment\/strictly-dan-walker-ian-waite-criticism-exclusive-newsupdate\/&quot;\" target=\"&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"&quot;noopener&quot; noopener noreferrer\">came to Walker\u2019s defence last month<\/a>, praising him for giving the show his all despite no previous experience with dance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is one of the celebs who has come into this with no experience whatsoever and I think that\u2019s what people love because he\u2019s giving it a go,\u201d said Waite.<\/p>\n<p>Walker proceeds to next week\u2019s quarter finals, alongside television presenters <a href=\"\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/entertainment\/talent-shows\/rhys-stephenson-strictly-come-dancing-2021-contestant\/&quot;\" target=\"&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"&quot;noopener&quot; noopener noreferrer\">Rhys Stephenson<\/a> and <a href=\"\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/entertainment\/aj-odudu-strictly-come-dancing-2021-contestant\/&quot;\" target=\"&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"&quot;noopener&quot; noopener noreferrer\">AJ Odudu<\/a>, EastEnders star <a href=\"\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/entertainment\/rose-ayling-ellis-strictly-come-dancing-2021-contestant\/&quot;\" target=\"&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"&quot;noopener&quot; noopener noreferrer\">Rose Ayling-Ellis<\/a>, and former Bake Off champ <a href=\"\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/entertainment\/john-whaite-strictly-come-dancing-2021-contestant\/&quot;\" target=\"&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"&quot;noopener&quot; noopener noreferrer\">John Whaite<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One at 6:40pm on Saturday 4th December.
