\u201cI just really admire her guts,\u201d she said. \u201cI admire her guts and not going quietly. Yes, she had the means to fight [her husband in court]. Yes, she still lost. But I admire her guts at refusing to do what her gender, what her sex, what her class would have really, really required her to do, which is don\u2019t say a word, don\u2019t drag us through the gutter, don\u2019t fool us, don\u2019t shame us \u2013 the upper classes, the wealthy. Don\u2019t expose us and our practices and the way we live our lives that should be behind closed doors.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd she just went, \u2018Not a chance.\u2019 And did all of that. She\u2019s kind of the birth of the tabloid, in a way.\u201d<\/p>
