<\/p>
Rhys Stephenson was the first celebrity to take to the dancefloor in this week\u2019s Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> semi-final \u2013 and Claudia Winkleman had a nice surprise for him following his impressive Tango.<\/p>\n After commenting that all of his family were in attendance to support him apart from one, the host revealed that Rhys\u2019 dad had recorded a special video message for him in his absence.<\/p>\n And Rhys was visibly touched by the gesture \u2013 first exclaiming \u201cNo way!\u201d and then tearing up after watching the message.<\/p> \u201cHello Rhys,\u201d the message began. \u201cThis is Dad, sorry I can\u2019t be there this week but as you know I\u2019m very proud of you. Having a son like you is a dream of any parent, I\u2019m happy, proud, and blessed that you are my son.<\/p>\n \u201cKeep dancing, Good luck Rhys, I\u2019m, proud of you,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Asked what the messages of support meant to him, Rhys responded, \u201cIt just meant the world because I think it shows they\u2019re not just watching our dancing, they\u2019re loving our partnership and how we\u2019ve grown and bonded.<\/p>\n \u201cIt really has been of siblings and it\u2019s kind of grown into parent and child but throughout this there\u2019s always been love and there\u2019s always been teamwork.\u201d<\/p>\n Rhys and Nancy scored four nines for their Tango, giving them a total of 36 points as they look to follow the success of last week \u2013 when they finished joint top of the judges\u2019 leaderboard.<\/p>\n The Strictly Come Dancing results show airs tomorrow night 7:20pm on BBC One. <\/strong>Want something else to watch?
