Netflix\u2019s The Witcher<\/a> returns for season two on Friday and judging by recent comments by the drama\u2019s new stars, we can expect the upcoming series to be more \u201cemotional\u201d.<\/p>\n Speaking to\u00a0RadioTimes.com<\/a> in an exclusive interview, Bridgerton\u2019s Adjoa Andoh \u2013 who joins the upcoming series as priestess Nenneke \u2013 opened up about how season two differs from its predecessor.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s some kind of added richness, I think,\u201d she said. \u201cI think that this series is going deeper into the sort of emotional hinterland of the characters, as well as having all the plotting and the strategising \u2013 the sort of emotional, deeper exploration into who these people are. Which is good, I think.\u201d<\/p>\n While Dune star Paul Bullion, who joins the cast as new witcher Lambert, added:\u00a0\u201cAs it\u2019s already been reported, we\u2019re now on the same timeline now.<\/p>\n \u201cBut I think it\u2019s going deeper into the relationships between the characters. I think it was kind of a stop around the continent, really, in season one, and understanding what a witcher is, and then how people came to be in the position they\u2019re in.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd now we see at the end of season one \u2013 you see, obviously, Ciri (Freya Allan) meeting Geralt (Henry Cavill), and now you get to see that relationship develop.
