<\/p>
Tom Holland has returned for his third solo Spider-Man movie in the recently released Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/a> \u2013 but the actor\u2019s future as Spidey remains unclear.<\/p>\n Towards the end of November, it was reported that Holland was set to sign on for a further trilogy<\/a>, with producer Amy Pascal revealing that \u201cwe\u2019re going to go on to the next three\u201d.<\/p>\n But Holland himself has been a little more coy about what lies ahead, and in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> he hinted that he was \u201cready to say goodbye\u201d to the character.<\/p>\n \u201cThere have been conversations about the future of Spider-Man,\u201d he said. \u201cWhether it will be with me, I\u2019m not too sure yet. You know, maybe I\u2019ll be a producer or something, I don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n \u201cI do know that I love this character and I would be sad to say goodbye, but I have achieved basically everything I wanted to achieve as this character,\u201d he added, before joking, \u201cI really think I\u2019m gonna win the Oscar for this movie so that\u2019s great!\u201d<\/p>\n He concluded: \u201cSo I\u2019m ready, I\u2019m ready to say goodbye.\u201d<\/p> Earlier, Holland had revealed that reports he\u2019d signed on for an additional three films were news to him when he found out \u2013 joking that he might have to make a few alterations to his schedule.<\/p>\n \u201cI have a hilarious photo of me FaceTiming Zendaya with blood all down my face because I\u2019d fallen over,\u201d he told USA Today<\/a>. \u201cSo when I saw that I apparently signed on to three more movies, I was like, \u2018Ah, I\u2019m going to have to cancel my next skiing holiday.\u201d<\/p>\n Whatever happens in terms of solo movies, it looks like No Way Home definitely won\u2019t be Holland\u2019s final MCU appearance, with Sony Pictures chairman Tom Rothman saying this week that he will return for at least another crossover.<\/p>\n Speaking to the Phase Zero<\/a> podcast, Rothman revealed, \u201cWe lend one, then they lend one, and that\u2019s how Benedict [Cumberbatch] is in this movie, so we have one more lend back that is committed.\u201d<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n Spider-Man: No Way Home is in UK cinemas now.
