The All Creatures Great and Small Christmas special trailer<\/a> was released earlier this month, teasing a festive mix-up between James Herriot and Helen Alderson<\/a>, who got engaged in series two.<\/p>\n Expect plenty of four-legged friends, Christmas parties, carolling \u2013 and even a sprig (or three) of mistletoe.<\/p>\n However, All Creatures Great and Small won\u2019t have a Christmas wedding<\/a>\u00a0this year, despite what viewers might have assumed.<\/p>\n Read on for everything you need to know about the All Creatures Great and Small Christmas special.<\/p>\n The All<\/span> Creatures<\/span> Christmas Special will air on Christmas Eve 2021 at 9pm on Channel 5.<\/b><\/p>\n The episode will see newly engaged couple Helen and James bring to decide where to spend Christmas, after each wrongly assumes where they\u2019ll be spending the holidays.<\/p>\n Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a>, Callum Woodhouse (who plays Tristan in the All Creatures Great and Small cast<\/a>) recently said the wedding between Helen and James would take place in the potential third series \u2013 but admitted he thought viewers \u201cmight have expected\u201d the nuptials to take place in the upcoming Christmas special.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, I was thinking they might have expected [the wedding] as well, to be honest,\u201d he said. However, he added: \u201cI quite like the idea that it\u2019s not straight into the wedding.
