EastEnders star Rose Ayling-Ellis<\/a> has praised her Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> professional dance partner ahead of the Strictly final this weekend.<\/p>\n

Speaking to press including RadioTimes.com<\/a>, Rose, who is deaf, revealed how Giovanni Pernice has adjusted to her disability.<\/p>\n

She explained: \u201cHe meets me halfway, so he\u2019s literally come to my world and respects who I am and the way I learn things, and adjusted to teaching around that. It\u2019s worked so well because sometimes when things don\u2019t, he\u2019s like, \u2018OK, that didn\u2019t work. Let\u2019s try to make it work.\u2019 And I think that\u2019s been fantastic!\u201d<\/p>

This weekend, the duo will perform two Strictly Come Dancing songs and dances<\/a>, one of which will be their Couple\u2019s Choice to Symphony by Clean Bandit ft Zara Larsson, which they performed back in Week Eight.<\/p>\n

During the performance, Rose paid tribute to the deaf community with a silent moment in the dance sequence, earning her an impressive 39 points on the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think for us it was such a big moment, so it\u2019d be weird for us not to do it again,\u201d Giovanni explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously the silent moment was so powerful and because this got so much attention, Rose kept saying that the dance changed her life and lots of people\u2019s lives so it\u2019s just fair to do it again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking of their Showdance for the Strictly Come Dancing 2021 final, he added: \u201cIt\u2019s a celebration of me and Rose and our relationship together. In a sense of we found this beautiful friendship and that\u2019s what we want to celebrate on Saturday night!\u201d<\/p>\n
