\u201cShe would have hated me [playing her],\u201d said Foy during a press Q&A. \u201cShe would have been appalled. Oh my God! I can almost hear her scathing, [being] deeply, deeply disappointed that it\u2019s me and not many other people I could name.\u2019<\/p>\n
Foy went on to joke that she was \u201cso low class\u201d, before mimicking Margaret: \u201cLook at her! Look at her!<\/p>\n
\u201cI love her even more, the fact that she would hate me.\u201d<\/p>\n
But Phelps has a sneaking suspicion that the Duchess would have approved of Foy.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think she would have probably been on the outside incredibly snotty and very, very scathing, but secretly delighted,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd she would have gone home and and she would have cut out everything to do with Claire Foy and put it in a special scrapbook.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou see two people who are equally as damaged as the other meeting each other and going, \u2018I find you really<\/em> attractive, but I can\u2019t put my finger on why that is.\u2019 And then they embark on this relationship. And watching any relationship break down is deeply sad but also really fascinating from the outside because you always want to know where it went wrong. At what point was there no return?<\/p> \u201cAnd I think what\u2019s interesting about the end of their relationship is it plays out in the public domain. The end of their relationship is not those two in a room being able to look each other in the eye and go, \u2018At one point we loved each other.
