Channel 4\u2019s new darkly comedic prison drama Screw<\/a> starts tonight \u2013 and RadioTimes.com<\/a> has an exclusive peek at the first episode.<\/p>\n

Starring Nina Sosanya (Staged, His Dark Materials) and Derry Girls\u2019 Jamie-Lee O\u2019Donnell, the series explores life as a prison officer in an all-male British prison.<\/p>\n

The synopsis reads: \u201cInspired by the creator\u2019s [Rob Williams] experience of working and volunteering in prisons, this series brings us a view of incarceration unlike any other. Through a vibrant and multi-layered cast of characters, Screw tackles contemporary stories head on \u2013 but always cut through with comedy, irreverence and heart.\u201d<\/p>\n
