Series 2: Michelle Dewberry<\/b><\/h2>\n
Michelle beat iconic candidate Ruth Badger to win the second series of The Apprentice back in 2006. However she never actually completed her year working for Lord Sugar, leaving nine months in to start a consultancy firm.<\/p>\n
She has since got into politics \u2013 she came fourth when she ran as an independent MP candidate in the 2017 general election, and still makes frequent TV appearances debating current affairs and hosting Sky\u2019s The Pledge.<\/p>\n
Series 3: Simon Ambrose<\/strong><\/h2>\nDespite a VERY embarrassing trampoline gaffe<\/a> on a live shopping channel, Cambridge graduate Simon Ambrose went on to become the surprise winner of series three when he beat favourite Kristina Grimes (as well as Katie Hopkins) to the \u00a3100,000 job.<\/p>\n
He then went on to work with Lord Sugar\u2019s property company Armsprop before going on to launch his very own property development firm in 2010. Though none of his achievements will surely top that moment of TV gold\u2026<\/p>\n
Series 4: Lee McQueen<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Even after fibbing on his CV and showing off his\u00a0<a href=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=__-ovyc0QP8"\" target=\""_blank"\" rel=\""noopener noopener noreferrer\" noreferrer=\"\">reverse\u00a0pterodactyl\u00a0impression<\/a>\u00a0in the interview week, Lee McQueen was crowned winner of the fourth series of The Apprentice.<\/p>\n<p>Lee then phoned in sick on his first day(!) working for Lord Sugar, and after two years at Amscreen he launched his own recruitment company <a href=\""https:\/\/www.rawtalentacademy.com\/sales-industry-news\/apprentice-winner-lee-mcqueen-9-years-on\/"\">Raw Talent Academy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Series 5: Yasmina Siadatan<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In the year that brought us Pants Man, James McQuillan and THAT <a href=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GrEa3zUO2V8"\" target=\""_blank"\" rel=\""noopener noopener noreferrer\" noreferrer=\"\">sandalwood miscalculation<\/a>, Yasmina Siadatan was crowned The Apprentice (despite already owning her own restaurant) and joined Lee at Amscreen Health Care.<\/p>\n<p>She was then headhunted by Dragons Den\u2019s James Caan to work at his recruitment company, and the two later created the Start Up Loans Company. She now works as marketing director at a financial tech company. So that\u2019s two TV business moguls on her CV \u2013 not bad at all.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Series 6: Stella English<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Although Stella managed to beat Stuart \u201cThe Brand\u201d Baggs to The Apprentice title, her time working with Lord Sugar didn\u2019t go smoothly. Although first working for his IT division Viglen, she soon moved to TV service YouView before resigning.<\/p>\n<p>English then sued Sugar for constructive dismissal, but she lost this case and was counter-sued by Sugar. This too was unsuccessful.<\/p>\n<p>She has since had a child with snooker star Ali Carter.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Series 7: Tom Pellereau<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Inventor Tom has the worst track record of any Apprentice winner having lost eight tasks and only won three.<\/p>\n<p>However, after his surprise win, Tom and Lord Sugar launched Stylideas, based on his curved nail file invention the Stylfile, and have been expanding the health and beauty range ever since. Other notable inventions include the baby nail clippers, ultra-safe nail polish remover and a speedy make-up brush remover.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Series 8: Ricky Martin<\/strong><\/h2>\n<iframe title=\""Ricky\" martin=\"\" audition=\"\" the=\"\" apprentice=\"\" bbc=\"\" one=\"\" width=\""200"\" height=\""113"\" src=\""https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bRCU6xJgE_4?feature=oembed"\" frameborder=\""0"\" allow=\""accelerometer;\" autoplay=\"\" clipboard-write=\"\" encrypted-media=\"\" gyroscope=\"\" picture-in-picture=\"\" allowfullscreen=\"\"\/>\n<p>Former wrestler and Total Wipeout champion Ricky Martin (no, not that one) won The Apprentice in 2012, and soon set up specialist recruitment consultancy Hyper Recruitment Solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Ricky is one of the more successful Apprentice winners \u2013 he was the first business partner to make \u00a31 million in profits, and he employs 50 staff across three cities including fellow Apprentice candidate Trishna Thakrar until earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>He even returned to The Apprentice in 2014, but this time as one of the interviewers.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Series 9: Leah Totton<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Northern Irish physician Leah won the show in 2013 despite having very little business experience, and after sensibly changing her firm\u2019s name from \u2018Niks\u2019, she launched Dr Leah Clinics with Lord Sugar in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The company was a success, winning several national awards, expanding into further branches in London and Essex and also <a href=\""https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/tvandshowbiz\/7359218\/the-apprentices-leah-totton-first-million-five-years-winning\/"\">making a million in profits in 2018<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>She hasn\u2019t forgotten her NHS roots though: she chose to return to work part-time as an A&E doctor after setting up her business, and continues to split her time between the two.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Series 10: Mark Wright<\/strong><\/h2>\n<iframe title=\""BBC\" news=\"\" december=\"\" the=\"\" apprentice=\"\" final=\"\" lord=\"\" sugar=\"\" picks=\"\" his=\"\" winner=\"\" width=\""200"\" height=\""113"\" src=\""https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/i7geybVCut8?feature=oembed"\" frameborder=\""0"\" allow=\""accelerometer;\" autoplay=\"\" clipboard-write=\"\" encrypted-media=\"\" gyroscope=\"\" picture-in-picture=\"\" allowfullscreen=\"\"\/>\n<p>Despite nearly being thrown off by a severe coughing fit in week 10, entrepreneur Mark Wright (no, not the Essex one) partnered with Lord Sugar to launch digital marketing agency Climb Online. The business has, um, climbed ever since, making a<a href=\""https:\/\/startups.co.uk\/startups-100\/news\/climb-online-turns-over-4m\/"\"> \u00a34 million turnover in 2017<\/a> and is looking to expand into South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Mark hasn\u2019t done too bad personally either \u2013 he secured a spot on Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2017, and has received several awards including Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2018 UK business awards.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Series 11: Joseph Valente<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>School expellee and plumber Joseph Valente won the 2015 series after Lord Sugar seemed to see a bit of himself in the young plumber, and the two set up boiler installation company ImpraGas.<\/p>\n<p>However Joseph became the first business partner to split from Lord Sugar, buying out his shares in 2017 and taking full control of the firm. Not that this impacted Valence too badly, though: he has since published a book and ImpraGas has achieved a turnover of \u00a33million, according to Joseph\u2019s <a href=\""https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/joseph-valente-206794b0\/"\">LinkedIn<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Series 12: Alana Spencer<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Alana launched one of the greatest comebacks in Apprentice history after being in the bottom three the first two weeks and then eventually going on to win the show.<\/p>\n<p>However, Alana became the second business partner to split from Lord Sugar, buying him out of Ridiculously Rich by Alana and flying solo with Sugar\u2019s blessing.<\/p>\n<ul><li><a href=\""https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/news\/tv\/2018-12-16\/the-apprentice-winner-what-happens-next-bbc-lord-sugar\/"\">What happens to the winner of The Apprentice?<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul><p>She\u2019s been left with quite the company to run \u2013 Ridiculously Rich now supports almost 50 franchisees. The luxury cake business did, however, have to launch a recall in 2017 after incorrect ingredient labelling.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Series 13: Sarah Lynn<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>After accidentally pitching a company name already exists, Sarah Lynn became one of 2017\u2019s two business partners in a shock double hiring.<\/p>\n<p>Her newly-named firm Sweets in the City produced the personalised gifts Letterbox Treats and now has a range of vegan sweets called Duals available in Waitrose, Holland & Barrett and certain WHSmith stores.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Series 13: James White<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The other half of series 13\u2019s historic \u00a3500,000 investment, James White won a share of the prize despite Lord Sugar\u2019s concern about his IT recruitment firm Right Time Recruitment.<\/p>\n<p>White has also become an ambassador for Acorn\u2019s Children\u2019s Hospice.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Series 14: Sian Gabbidon<\/strong><\/h2>\n<iframe title=\""Argument\" erupts=\"\" in=\"\" the=\"\" boardroom=\"\" as=\"\" lord=\"\" sugar=\"\" announces=\"\" winner=\"\" apprentice=\"\" final=\"\" bbc=\"\" width=\""200"\" height=\""113"\" src=\""https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FYvSZnVDnQ0?feature=oembed"\" frameborder=\""0"\" allow=\""accelerometer;\" autoplay=\"\" clipboard-write=\"\" encrypted-media=\"\" gyroscope=\"\" picture-in-picture=\"\" allowfullscreen=\"\"\/>\n<p>While perhaps not <a href=\"\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/news\/tv\/2018-11-14\/apprentices-kayode-damali-id-definitely-go-into-business-with-claude-if-he-wanted-to\/"\" target=\""_blank"\" rel=\""noopener noopener noreferrer\" noreferrer=\"\">Claude\u2019s favourite<\/a>, swimwear designer Sian Gabbidon eventually swiped the top prize in 2018 with her cool and calm demeanour. It\u2019s barely been a year but Sian has since set up her business Sian Marie, and her Tropical Goddess range has been worn by celebrities such as Michelle Keegan and Love Island\u2019s Hayley Hughes.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Series 15: Carina Lepore<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div class=\""image-handlercontainer\" image-handlercontainer--aspect=\"\" style=\""padding-bottom:\" calc=\"\"> <picture><source Hopefully get Dough\u2019s Bakehouse in other locations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In September 2020, Lepore held a press launch for her second bakery which was opened in South East London\u2019 Beckenham area.<\/p>\n<h2><b>But the most successful candidate ever is\u2026 Susan Ma<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Yes, the same Susan Ma who uttered the immortal phrase \u201cDo the French like their children?\u201d has since become a multi-million-pound businesswoman. Despite not actually winning the seventh series of The Apprentice (finishing in third place), Lord Sugar nevertheless invested in her new business Tropic, a vegan skincare company now with annual sales of \u00a322.5million (according to <a href=\""https:\/\/www.thetimes.co.uk\/article\/success-is-sweet-for-sugar-s-runner-up-ccqj6ftv8"\">The Times<\/a>) and recipient of over 100 awards.<\/p>\n<p>Susan was also named one of Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Apprentice starts on BBC One on Thursday, 6th January at 9pm.
