We might only be on Week Two of The Apprentice<\/a>, but a few of the The Apprentice 2022 candidates<\/a> are already standing out.<\/p>\n

Following his elimination on Thursday 13th January, Conor Gilsenan<\/a> revealed who he thinks he could win the 16th series \u2013 and two of the girls, Kathryn Louise Burn<\/a> and Amy Anzel<\/a>, were his top contenders for Lord Sugar\u2019s \u00a3250,000 investment.<\/p>\n

Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a>, the sales executive said: \u201cI think the girls are very strong. I got to know them like super briefly, but I got to know some of the girls on that day off. I remember Kathryn and Amy saying that they had businesses that were up and running and were doing quite well. They spoke well and they both were in leadership positions on both tasks.\u201d<\/p>

When it comes to the guys, Alex Short<\/a> and Nick Showering<\/a>, were the two who stood out to Conor, who was the second contestant to leave The Apprentice 2022<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, he worries they might not be \u201cabrasive\u201d enough for the series.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI really enjoyed working with with Alex and Nick. I thought they were both really smart guys, but I would worry about the fact that\u00a0 \u00a0they\u2019re they\u2019re quite similar to me and they\u2019re not confrontational or abrasive enough for that process, because it really is like a dog eat dog world.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I don\u2019t know them that well, but I don\u2019t get the impression that they do that. So we\u2019ll just have to wait and see!\u201d<\/p>\n
