British soldiers in Greece, 1944

Greek journalist Panagiotis Zavoudakis is trying to find out about British soldier Colin Wright, who fought in Greece from 1944 to 1945. Wright wrote about his experiences in the book British Soldier in Greece (Lawrence & Wishart, 1946). Zavoudakis has translated it into Greek, and has been searching for biographical information about the author. All that is known is that Wright was born in 1904, got married and had children. He served in the Army for four years, first being sent to Italy and then moved with his unit to Greece. He may have lived in Edinburgh and been a member of the Scottish Workers Party. If you can help, please email panzavoudakis@gmail.com.
