<\/p>
On this week\u2019s episode of Who Do You Think You Are?<\/em><\/a>, quiz show presenter and crime novelist Richard Osman discovers his family history. Here\u2019s five things you might not know about Richard Osman\u2026<\/p>\n Richard was born in 1970 and grew up in Cuckfield, West Sussex. His older brother is Mat Osman, bass guitarist with the rock band Suede.<\/p>\n In 2009, Richard developed the idea for TV quiz show Pointless<\/em>, which he co-presented with Alexander Armstrong<\/a> until 2022.<\/p>\n Richard has also presented programmes including Child Genius<\/em> and Richard Osman\u2019s House of Games<\/em>.<\/p>\n Richard published his debut novel The Thursday Murder Club<\/em><\/a>, about a group of retirees who get together to solve a murder, in 2020. The book was an instant bestseller, selling 45,000 copies in its first three days on sale.
