In 2007, Kevin Clifton was at the top of his game and ranked 7th in the whole world for competitive dancing.<\/p>\n
3. Retired at 25<\/h2>\n
After retiring from competition at 25, Clifton moved on to the theatre and in 2010, made his musical theatre debut in Dirty Dancing: The Musical<\/em>.<\/p>\n4. Star of Strictly<\/em><\/h2>\nKevin joined Strictly Come Dancing<\/em> as a professional dancer in 2013 and appeared in the final of Strictly<\/em> every year from 2013-2018 except for 2017. He left the show in 2020 with the announcement that he needed to focus on other elements of his career.<\/p>\n5. Found love on the dance floor<\/h2>\n
Clifton met his current partner Stacey Dooley, journalist and television presenter, on the sixteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing<\/em> in 2018 when they were paired together. The couple were the series winners. They have been together ever since and welcomed their first child together in January 2023.<\/p> <\/body><\/html>\n
