<\/p>
A new online portal allowing researchers to search archive catalogues across Scotland<\/a> has just been launched.<\/p> Your Scottish Archives<\/a> is similar to The National Archives\u2019 Discovery<\/a> search engine, which covers archives in England and Wales<\/a>.<\/p> It allows researchers to search the record listings of over 60 Scottish archives, including local authority, health, business and community archives, as well as records of under-represented groups.<\/p> It also has information guides to help researchers get more out of different kinds of archives.<\/p> It is managed by the Scottish Council on Archives (SCA) in partnership with Jisc, Archives Hub and the National Records of Scotland.<\/p> SCA said that phase two of the website would be launched in spring 2025 and include improved hierarchical display of records and search functionality.
